For modelers who have higher requirements on their models, it’s normal for them to remove unsatisfactory details or add lines. However, if you don’t have the right tools, you may find annoying marks after those operations.
MENG has worked with DSPIAE and will release three sets of tools to solve this problem. They are the MTS-031 Precision Clamp Holding Handle, and corresponding MTS-032 High-strength Precision Hook Broaches and MTS-033 High-strength Precision Push Broaches.
The MTS-031 Precision Clamp Holding Handle is machined by special forging technique and its aluminum alloy surface has received sandblasting and oxidation treatment. Thanks to the ergonomic design, this product’s triangle handle is easy and comfort to hold. It’s more stable and accurate to push/engrave lines. This product is suitable for all broaches/knives with a shank diameter of 3.175mm.
The MTS-032 High-strength Precision Hook Broaches Machined from tungsten steel, this product features sharp and durable edge. It can be used to carve various lines on plastic model surfaces. This product includes 5 precision hook broaches in sizes of 0.1mm, 0.3mm, 0.5mm, 0.8mm and 1.0mm. The shank diameter is 3.175mm.
The MTS-033 High-strength Precision Push Broaches Machined from tungsten steel, this product features sharp and durable edge. It can be used to remove excessive material or deepen engraved lines on plastic model surfaces. This product includes 5 precision push broaches in sizes of 0.15mm, 0.3mm, 0.5mm, 0.8mm and 1.0mm. The shank diameter is 3.175mm.
