PS-005封绘0525.jpg

Enterprise may be America’s favorite name for ships. It’s used to name the warships of the U.S. Navy, a space shuttle and even the fictional starships in movies. The most famous one is a meritorious warship, U.S.S. Enterprise (CV-6) aircraft carrier. She was the second ship of the Yorktown-class aircraft carriers and the seventh U.S. Navy vessel named Enterprise. She participated in all the major actions of the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Ocean theatre in WWII. Enterprise sank 7 Japanese warships and shot down more than 400 Japanese aircraft. She was leading the U.S. Navy warships by receiving 20 battle stars. After her, two nuclear-powered aircraft carriers have been successively named Enterprise.
