In 2012, China’s first aircraft carrier, Liaoning, officially entered service with pennant number '16', marking the beginning of a new chapter in the Chinese Navy’s journey into the deep blue! In 2024, Liaoning reached another milestone! After a systematic overhaul and upgrade, she has undergone a comprehensive upgrade in its onboard radar, electronic warfare systems, and more, significantly enhancing its combat capabilities. In October of the same year, the Liaoning and Shandong aircraft carrier fleets conducted their first joint training exercise, signaling the increasing maturity of China’s carrier task groups.
