After we announced the 1/72 scale 72-013 Chinese Main Battle Tank ZTZ99A model last week, it received enthusiastic attention and a lot of positive feedback from military modellers. Many modellers wanted a scale model of the ZTZ99B Main Battle Tank, which made its debut in the September 3rd Military Parade. We listened carefully to your voices, and our R&D and engineering teams immediately started development work. After several days of continuous effort, the 72-013 has been fully upgraded into a 1/72 Chinese Main Battle Tank ZTZ99A/B kit, allowing modellers to choose to build either the ZTZ99A or ZTZ99B model.
The kit includes optional parts, allowing you to build either the ZTZ99A or the ZTZ99B model.
The model accurately recreates the powerful and imposing appearance of the newly debuted ZTZ99B main battle tank.
As an improved variant of the ZTZ99A, the ZTZ99B replaces the anti-aircraft machine gun—which previously required the crew to expose outside the hatch—with a remote weapon station. In addition, the two identical antennas of the ZTZ99A have been changed to one thick and one thin antenna on the ZTZ99B.
