The Type-055 destroyer is China's first 10,000-ton-class guided-missile destroyer, developed and built domestically. It boasts formidable comprehensive combat capabilities, equipped with advanced air defense, anti-missile, anti-ship, and anti-submarine weapon systems. Combined with cutting-edge situational awareness technology, it can swiftly respond to threats in complex battlefield environments. Its 112-cell vertical launch system can carry a variety of missiles, including air defense missiles, anti-ship missiles, anti-submarine missiles, and land-attack missiles. The first batch of eight Type-055 missile destroyers has already entered service, significantly enhancing China's blue-water operational capabilities and providing strong support for future complex international maritime missions.
